120 Volt Heating Element Kit, Midi Series (1000 Watt)

Description

120 Volt Heating Element kit for the Midi Series of water distillers. The kit includes #7023 heater, with gaskets and U-clamp.

Replacement part for the following machines:  Midi Classic (1999- Current), Midi D Auto (1991-1992), Midi D ECP (1992-1999), Midi D System (1990-1991), Midi SS-4, Midi SS-4D, Midi SS-5, Midi SS-5D, Midi Still (1981-1990), Midi Still D (1981-1990)

How to replace the heating element in the Midi Classic
1.) First, remove the back cover from the unit.
2.) Remove the 2 terminal screws from the end of the heating element & remove the 2 wires from each side of the terminal block. Make sure to keep wires separate to avoid a mix-up when reconnecting them.
3.) Remove the 4 hex nuts and washers from the end of the heating element. Remove the stainless steel hex nut (⅜) and release the U-clamp from inside the boiling tank.
4.) The old heating element is now free for removal.
5.) Insert the new heating element and ensure the gasket is in place. Tighten the 4 hex nuts at the end of the heating element.
6.) Insert the U-clamp onto the element and tighten the stainless steel hex nut to secure it. Do not over-tighten the hex nut.
7.) Reconnect the terminal block wires with its hex nut.
8.) Screw the back cover back onto the distiller.
9.) Your distiller is now ready to use!
