- Make some distilled water and put some in a small bowl.
- Genlty move your filter in the water to get rid of loose charcoal.
- Take the filter out of the water once it’s been rinsed and put it in the metal filter tray located above where the glass jar is placed while in use.
- You can use the filter dry after the initial rinse. We recommend rinsing it so that charcoal does not end up in your distilled water.
- Once you have used your filter for about 3 months, we recommend replacing it. You can also replace it if you feel that your water no longer tastes or smells as good.
