Description
These official manufacturer Pure Water TM Mini Classic Water Distiller Filters should be changed every 3 months, or as needed, depending on use. Every week, you should clean your hands and then pinch the carbon to loosen it (this prevents clumping and clogs). The filters are filled with activated carbon and are sewn never glued.

To prepare filters for use, soak them in distilled water for a short time, rinse them out by swishing the filter around a bit, then soak them again in fresh distilled water until the bulk of the loose particles have been rinsed away.

These are WAY better filters than something you will get off of Amazon. It is worth it to buy these instead! They last around 2 months when I’m making 4-5 gallons a week. Sometimes much longer as I just go off the taste of the water…

I get 30 distillings from my Mini-Classic II distiller before the carbon filter needs to be changed out. The tap water I distill from is filled with additives, so after trial and error, 30 is the change-out number. And, the water always tastes wonderful!
