Another ridiculous claim made by people selling their latest and greatest (and of course patented) magic water machine is that their machine produces “living water” and that other types of water, such as distilled water is “dead water”.
So here’s the truth: water is not alive. Water is the primary component of life, but it’s not alive itself. There is NO form of water that is alive and there is no form of water that is dead. There is no machine that can make water alive or dead. Water is a molecule of hydrogen and oxygen atoms.
So whenever you hear anyone making a silly claim that certain water is “living water” and that other water is “dead water”, run away. You are hearing a sales pitch from either someone who doesn’t know what he’s talking about or worse, they know exactly what they are talking about and they are intentionally misleading you.
The fact is that water is water and the only difference between ocean water, raw sewage and pure distilled water are the contaminants that are in the water. Put pure water into your body and avoid long-term exposure to harmful chemicals that are showing up in an increasing number of water supplies. From my research the term “dead water” refers to water that has been processed i.e reverse osmosis where by all the minerals (magnesium,zinc,fluride,sodium etc) and bacteria and viruses gave been removed hence the term dead water
That is generally what people are referring to when they say “dead” water but again water can be neither alive or dead and this is just clever marketing to make you think that Distilled water is bad for you. It is not “dead” water and the term has no real meaning.
Isn’t it unprofessional and disrespectful to discredit competition? If a company has to go to those lengths make a sale it reflects the integrity of that business…
We agree 100%, unfortunately, there is a lot of bad information out there mixed in with the good. There are some water companies that use scientific terms to market their products, misleading the public on truth. If a company is giving you good solid facts about water and are able to provide laboratory test results or scientific studies to back up their claims, please listen to them. After much research, these are the folks or types of water he would caution you to stay away from.
