I have tested my PH without a carbon filter and the tested water is yellow with would mean its a PH of 3. I do add a pinch of backing soda and the PH tested water is blue so that means its a 10 ? please explain, I have commented before and never saw my post or received a reply ?

Without the carbon filter in place, distilled water can come out at 3-4 on the PH scale. By passing through the Carbon Filter as advised the PH will balance closer to 7.

Ok, thank you for your reply, I like the PH low without the carbon filter because I use that water to soak my feet with distilled white vinegar that has cured my toe nail fungus : )

Straight distilled water (without a carbon filter) can come out closer to 5-6 on the PH scale but by passing through the Carbon filter or by being exposed to air for a period of time it will neutralize to a balanced 7 on the PH scale.
