Over the past few weeks, we’ve talked quite a bit about the tremendous amount of misinformation and scams about water. So let’s ask the question, does it really matter? Maybe the “magic” water that they are selling costs a lot, but couldn’t it be just like buying a lottery ticket; a huge upside potential with …
It’s amazing to me that we still have people that refer to our product as a “filter”. Nothing could be further from the truth and the differences make all the difference!!! Prolonged Boiling. Every Health Department in the world will advise you to boil the water if it has microbiological contamination and pathogens. These are …
There are many excellent reasons for using distilled water in food preparation, cooking, and baking. The claims sound good and you want to believe them, but they are not based on facts or science. Dr. Stephen Lower is a retired chemistry professor of Simon Frasier University and …
In order to discuss the water-related myths on the market we can’t overlook the so-called super-oxygenated waters. The premise is that these companies have (like always) patented a unique way to maintain a higher level of oxygen content in water and that this higher oxygen content increases metabolism and improves endurance. To address this water …
Today’s myth is related to our previous article on minerals in the water, but this one looks at the darker side of some of the claims that are made by some people on the web, most of whom are selling competitive filters. The claim is that distilled water is too pure and that it can …
Do I Get Minerals from Drinking Water? Getting minerals from water is a myth. There are four reasons why your body doesn’t need the minerals found in water. It’s important to remember that drinking purified water is important because you won’t introduce contaminants or toxins into your body. However, once you distill your water, …
